Salon Hairstylist Tests Wen by Chaz

Hairstylist, Emily McClure was featured in an online magazine, Bustle describing a one-week experience using WEN by Chaz product, Cleansing Conditioner. Her experience as a hairstylist was the motivation behind trying Wen’s cleansing conditioner product for seven days. During the seven-day trial, she made daily observation and journalized the results.

According to McClure, the texture of her hair is fine with long strands. The first thing she observed was the amount of cleansing conditioner by Wen needed for one wash. The amount Emily normally uses on her hair of other brand products was much less compared to Wen. She said that Day-One was wonderful after using the product. When she finished rinsing, there was no hair breakage of any of the hair strands.

As the days of testing proceeded, Emily realized Wen Cleansing Conditioner product was needed daily to maintain hair texture and receive a natural shine. On days she didn’t wash the hair, she experienced flat and greasy texture. By Day-Four of the test and no hair wash, she noticed fizziness and greasiness.

The conditioning product doesn’t maintain curly styles whether the hair is washed or not. McClure observed that and said her curls would fall quickly. Her overall assessment of the seven-day test is the product is needed every day to maintain shine, thicker texture, and clean looking hair.
